Vacating Notice

Looking at moving out? Notice to vacate is required from all tenants.

 

Fixed Term Tenancy

A minimum of thirty (30) days notice is required.  A fixed term tenancy does not end on the expiry date of the fixed term tenancy agreement unless either the tenant or agent/owner provides a minimum of 30 days notice. The day the notice is received is classified as the first day of notice.  Please be aware that if you are posting your notice, that you allow up to six days for postage.

 

Periodic Tenancy

Twenty-one (21) days minimum notice.  A periodic tenancy is a tenancy without an end date.

 

Notice From Tenant

Please either download the attached form and return to propertymanager@rwr.com.au or you can email a letter to us.  Please ensure that your notice clearly states:

  • To: RWR Real Estate
  • Your property address
  • The date which you will vacate the premises and what time you will deliver the keys to our office
  • Why you are vacating
  • The number of days notice you are providing (please note, notice received after 5pm will not be received until the next business day)
  • Date your letter
  • Sign your letter
